Background:

Friends of St Nicholas Fields is a registered charity. Known at St Nicks, they maintain and improve habitats on the 24-acre St Nicks Local Nature Reserve and manages the Environment Centre.  The charity promotes awareness of environmental and sustainability issues, runs an educational service, organises community events and activities, delivers ecotherapy to those experiencing mental ill-health and runs a community recycling scheme for York residents and businesses.

Meetings

Meetings are held bi-monthly, typically on the third week of the month in addition to the AGM. Meetings are held at the Environment Centre, whenever possible.
