Friends of St Nicholas Fields

Description

Background:

Friends of St Nicholas Fields is a registered charity. Known at St Nicks, they maintain and improve habitats on the 24-acre St Nicks Local Nature Reserve and manages the Environment Centre.  The charity promotes awareness of environmental and sustainability issues, runs an educational service, organises community events and activities, delivers ecotherapy to those experiencing mental ill-health and runs a community recycling scheme for York residents and businesses.

 

Meetings

Meetings are held bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of the month in addition to the AGM. Meetings are usually held at St Nicks Environment Centre.
