Informal Information fair

We are inviting all the residents of the Hull Rd Ward to come along and meet your elected members Councillor Fiona Fitzpatrick and Councillor Neil Barnes at an informal Ward Committee Information Fair at the Hull Rd Park on Wednesday 6th of July 5.00pm until 7.00pm.

 

You will have an opportunity to meet and talk to representatives from

 

  • Safer Neighbourhood Team
  • Street Environment Officer
  • Neighbourhood Management Officer
  • YorkCVS
  • Older Citizens Advocacy- York
  • Age Concern
  • Safe and Sound Homes
  • St Nicolas Fields
  • York Links
  • Playspace
  • Get Set for Digital

Ward Committee Information Fair

Minutes:

The Ward Committee Informal Information Fair was held at Hull Rd Park on Wednesday 6th July from 5.00pm until 7.00pm

 

Residents took the opportunity to meet and speak to the newly elected Councillors Fiona Fitzpatrick and Neil Barnes on a one to one basis. Concerns and issues that were raised were noted by the councillors.

 

The Hull Rd Ward team;

·        Street Environment Officer – Angus Young

·        Safer Neighbourhood Team-- Paul Fenwick and PCSO team

·        Neighbourhood management Officers- Carolyn Perry and Claire Taylor;

Consulted and engaged with the Residents individually. Encouragement was given to the Residents, to have their say by using the scheme suggestion forms in the ‘Your Ward’ publication and coming along to the Ward Committee Meetings.

Scheme suggestion forms were given out when required.

Pamphlets and information were given out about their organisation and services that they provide to the community in the Hull Rd Ward.

 

Cansing –The Neighbourhood Community Choir brightened up the event by entertaining us all with their wonderful singing.

 

PCSO Tom and the young boys had a great time playing football and penalty shoot-out during the event.

 

Anne from Playspace consulted with the young boys about opportunities for further sporting session for the youths of Hull Rd Ward.

 

Refreshments;-  cordial and water were serviced during the event.
