3: 45pm Tour of Hull Road Park and Start of treasure hunt

Come and take part in a free fun filled family treasure hunt and guided tour of Hull Road Park and St. Nicholas Fields! All the family can help look out for clues as you are guided around these two local green spaces. Prizes will be given to the teams with the most correct answers! Bring something to lean on and all your treasure hunting skills!

 

Meet at the Melrosegate entrance of Hull Road Park.

Minutes:

Dave Meigh, Head of parks and Open Spaces and Clair Suddaby, Local Nature Reserve Officer, lead a tour and treasure hunt around Hull road Park.

4:25-5:15pm Tour of St Nicholas Fields and second half of the treasure hunt

Meet at the Melrosegate entrance of St Nicholas Fields.

John Brierley Project Co-Ordinator at St Nicholas Fields, lead a tour of St Nicholas Fields and the second half of the treasure hunt.

4:30-17:45pm Sustainability surgery at York Environment Centre, St Nicholas Fields

There was a surgery held at York Environment Centre.

5:45-6:00pm Formal meeting - ward committee business

Minutes:

i.Councillor Pierce opened the meeting and thanked those present for their attendance and contributions to the treasure hunt event.

 

ii. The minutes of the last meeting were approved and there were no questions or matters arising.

 

iii. John Cossham announced that the new Hull Road Planning Panel is now up and running and have met several times. John is currently acting as Chair/Clerk. A full update will be given at the next ward committee meeting.

 

iv. There were no further question.
