Leeds City Region Transport Panel was set up in May 2007 and supports the Leaders’ Board on all areas of city region transport policy, driving delivery of the Transport Vision, and advising on alignment with regional and local transport policy.

The panel is part of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), which brings together the eleven local authorities of Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield, York and North Yorkshire County Council to work with businesses and partners towards a common prosperous and sustainable city region in areas such as transport, skills, housing, spatial innovation and planning.
