Local Government Yorkshire and Humber

Description

Purpose:

 

An Employers’ Association Pursuant to Section 122 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.  Local Government Yorkshire and Humber (LGYH) is the Member-led partnership of all local authorities across Yorkshire and Humber – enabling councils, fire and rescue authorities, police and crime commissioners and national park authorities to come together on issues of common interest, share information and intelligence and provide a strong collective voice on issues critical to the future prosperity of local communities across the region.

 

Membership:

 

The representative must be a Cabinet Member.

 

Meetings:

 

The Partnership meets 4 to 5 times per year.  Meetings usually take place at Local Government Yorkshire and Humber’s office in central Wakefield.  Details of meetings can be found  here
