York and North Yorkshire Climate Risks and Opportunities Assessment (YNY CCROA)
The report asks members to endorse the YNY
CCROA as a key part of the city’s climate change and net zero
evidence base. The CCROA will be used to inform policy and practice
aimed at ensuring the city is climate ready. The assessment was
undertaken by the YNY Combined Authority in partnership with City
of York Council and North Yorkshire Council.
The Executive Member will be asked to note the key risks and
opportunities arising from climate change over the short, medium
and longer term under various climate scenarios.
Endorse the YNY CCROA evidence base so it can be used to inform the
ongoing development of CYC policy and practice aimed at ensuring
the city is climate ready.

stakeholders.
