Consultation process
The process to date has involved all
stakeholders in the drafting of the LNRS through a series of
workshops. This pre-consultation marks the transition to the next
formal stage of consultation and is effectively a gateway whereby
the supporting authority (CYC) has the opportunity to object to the
LNRS progressing to a formal consultation. The formal consultation
will be undertaken by North Yorkshire Council with the support of
CYC. A consultation strategy has been provided to identify the
means in which the engagement will take place over a minimum period
of 6 weeks during the summer.
