Micro wood sites
In November 2023, City of York Council was
awarded £39,000 from the government's Coronation Living
Heritage Fund to fund the development of two micro woods. The two
"micro woods" are to celebrate the King's coronation.
Following a consultation to identify potential sites, this report
now seeks Executive member approval for the sites of the two micro
woods, with funding covered by the Coronation Living Heritage
Fund.
The Executive Member will be asked to approve the recommended sites
for micro wood creation.
