Petition Improving Cycling Facilities on Wentworth Road
Purpose of the Report:
This report acknowledges the receipt of a petition from residents
(12 signatures) of Wentworth Road to provide on street secure cycle
storage (commonly referred as a Cycle Hanger) on a trial basis with
the understanding that this would reduce available road space for
car parking, and details how officers propose to take this request
forward.
Executive Member will be asked to
Acknowledge receipt of the petition and instruct officers to carry
out a study on the provision of cycle hangers to residential
streets and how this can both inform a new policy and be
incorporated in the Local Transport Strategy.
