Consideration of changes to the City Centre Traffic Regulation Order (Footstreets)
Purpose of Report:
This report will re-consider the arrangements for City Centre
Access and the restoration of access through the Hostile Vehicle
Measures for blue badge holders.
The report will consider the options and the impacts on the wider
community including residents, businesses and visitors in terms of
equality impacts, human rights impacts and economic impacts. The
report will consider how these impacts can be mitigated including
through further consultation with affected communities.
The Executive will be asked to make a decision on the future
arrangements for the City Centre subject to any formal advertising
and consultation.
