Purpose of Report: This report provides an update on a review of childcare sufficiency across the city to understand the impact of low funding and recruitment and retention challenges on the early years sector.
The Executive Member will be asked to note the content of the report and to raise the issue of low funding and recruitment and retention with the Secretary of State for Education.
