Purpose of Report: To invite the Executive to consider the points system for the annual nomination of the Lord Mayor for the City of York Council.
The Executive will be asked to formally confirm those with the most points to qualify for nomination of the Lord Mayor for the approaching new municipal year, 2022/2023.
While we always aim to provide 28 days’ notice of a decision being made, on this occasion this was not possible. Reason: In order to apply the system used for the allocation of points for the role of Lord Mayor for the coming mayoral year 2022/23 and undertake appropriate consultation.
