City of York Planning Policy Housing Delivery Action Plan
Purpose of Report: The report relates to a Housing Delivery Action
Plan (HDAP), which is required of the council via national planning
policy (the National Planning Policy Framework 2021),
The report considers the Housing Delivery Test housing requirement
and outlines an action plan for those areas that the council has
the ability to influence and which can support housing delivery.
The Action Plan will be monitored and updated annually as required
by national planning policy and will be used to support
collaborative working across the council to deliver the action plan
and ultimately the housing requirement for York.
The Executive will be asked to approve the Housing Delivery Action
Plan and support the implementation across the council.
