Supporting the York economy
Purpose of report: To update Executive on the impact of their March
2020 decision to allocate £1.14m to support businesses
through Micro Grants and FSB membership, and set out proposals for
York to become the first Good Business Charter City in the context
of our developing economic strategy.
Executive will be asked to note the findings of the evaluation of
the March 2020 Micro Grant scheme, approve City of York Council
signing up to the Good Business Charter, and endorse York’s
status as the first Good Business Charter City.
