Extension of Hardship Fund Support
Purpose of Report: To confirm the position of spend against both the government’s Covid-19 Hardship Funding of £956,904 used to provide each resident in receipt of Council Tax Support with £150 of financial support towards their council tax bill in 2020/21. To consider the continuation of this and other Covid-19 support using additional crisis funds provided by the council to support residents in financial difficulty.
The Executive Member will be asked to approve the continuation of financial support to Covid-19 schemes including the Council Tax Hardship Scheme for the remainder of the 2020/21 Year.
