Review of Enforcement Activity
Purpose of report: There will be three individual reports which
enable the Executive Members to review the formal enforcement
action as well as the surveillance activity undertaken in 2019-20
by:-
• Planning
• Public Protection (Environmental Health, Trading Standards
and Licensing) as well as the National Trading Standards Regional
Investigation and National Trading Standards eCrime teams
• Housing Services and Community Safety
The Executive Member will be asked to approve the report in order
to provide a review of the enforcement activity undertaken in
2019-20 in accordance with the council’s enforcement policy,
and to meet the requirement of the surveillance commissioner for
Member oversight of surveillance activity.
