PROW: Definitive Map Modification Order application to record a public footpath between Chantry Lane, Bishopthorpe and Acaster Malbis 3
Purpose of report: For the Executive Member to consider evidence
submitted in support of a DMMO application to add a footpath to the
definitive map in the Ward and Parish of Bishopthorpe and to determine whether or not to
authorise the making of an order under the Wildlife and Countryside
Act 1981.
The Executive Member will be asked to either authorise the making
of the DMMO to record the footpath on the definitive map and
statement, or not.

An initial consultation has been carried out with the affected land owners, representatives of user groups and Bishopthorpe Parish Council. If the DMMO is made then a further period of 42 days statutory consultation will be held.
