Chief Officer Redundancy

To be made aware of a redundancy of a Chief Officer and the statutory redundancy cost and pension strain. Members will be asked to approve the use of budget for the payment of redundancy and pension strain.

 

The Council aims to give the same 28 days clear notice of non-key decisions as it does for key decisions, but in exceptional circumstances this may not be possible. In this case, the item will not have been on the forward plan for 28 days due to the timescales involved in completing HR procedures and processes.
