Schools Capital Maintenance and Basic Needs Projects 2018/19
Purpose of Report: The report will set out proposals for those schemes which have been identified and are being recommended to commence during the 2018/19 financial year. The schemes will include both school capital maintenance projects and projects where it is proposed to make alterations to school buildings to accommodate more pupils.
Members will be asked to approve expenditure on both schools capital maintenance and basic needs projects for the 2018/19 financial year.

Consultation process
Schools were asked to identify any areas of
capital maintenance works required on their buildings. All
community and voluntary controlled schools maintained by the City
of York Council were consulted.
