Purpose of Report: To
set out the proposed criteria for purchasing homes for the purpose
of shared ownership
The Executive Member will be asked to agree the criteria.
The Council aims to give the same 28 days’ clear notice of non key decisions as it does for key decisions, but in exceptional circumstances this may not be possible. In this case, the item is being considered as an urgent matter to allow the Executive Member to agree the criteria the council will use when purchasing properties such as value for money and suitability in terms of the customer group it is looking to reach. The council is in negotiation on various properties and needs the criteria in place before exchanging contracts.
