Low Poppleton Lane Rising Bollard

Purpose of Report: To propose options for the management of traffic on Low Poppleton Lane following the mechanical failure of the rising bollard.

The Executive Member will be asked to approve recommendations as outlined by officers.

 

This item has been deferred from 17 August to 14 September 2017 to give due consideration to the response of statutory consultees.

 

This item has been withdrawn for the following reason:. 

 

Other than the method of enforcement there is no proposed change to the travelling public as there is insufficient data at this time to bring forward alternative options for the Executive Member. Therefore an officer decision will be taken to instigate enforcement using an Experimental Traffic regulation Order which will not change the restrictions on the travelling public but will allow for a more comprehensive report to be considered by the Executive Member in early summer 2018.
