Thanet Road Local Safety Scheme
Purpose of Report: To seek approval to implement a safety scheme on
a section of Thanet Road between Foxwood Lane and St James Place near to the
Lidl supermarket. The proposal is to
extend the existing 20mph Zone on Gale Lane, with associated
traffic calming measures.
Executive Member is asked to: To note the results of the
consultation on the proposals, including feedback to a Traffic
Regulation Order advertisement and also the outcome of a Road
Safety Audit on the proposals. Subject to these results, the report
will seek approval of a scheme for implementation.
