Purpose of Report: to gain
authorisation to make a Diversion Order under section 257 of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to divert the northern section
of a public bridleway running between Metcalf Lane and Meadlands, Derwenthorpe, Osbaldwick, York, to enable Phase 4 of the
Derwenthorpe development to take
place.
The Executive Member is asked to give authorisation to make the
order necessary to divert the above path.

Parish Council, Ward Councillors and utility companies has been
carried out. Statutory consultation (4 weeks) will be carried out
if authorisation is given to make the Order.
