Adults Transport – Options and Approaches
The Adults Transport Vision (as agreed in March 2015) proposed that CYC should consider implementing a more personalised approach to transport whereby existing adult customers are able to exercise greater choice and control over their transport arrangements - in line with the principles of the Care Act 2014. Prevention is a primary aim, ensuring new adult customers only access commissioned transport provision as an option of last resort.
The Executive is asked to approve a recommended option for the future provision of transport for adult customers.
This item has been deferred to the April Executive in order to carry out further research and analysis.
