The Next Phase of the Older Persons’ Accommodation Programme: deciding the future of the third Older Persons’ Home to be considered for closure.
Purpose of Report: To provide Members with the results of the consultation undertaken with the residents, relatives and staff of the Council run residential care homes which have been subject to the exploration of the option to close the home with current residents moving to alternative accommodation.
Members are asked to consider the results of consultation undertaken and make a decision about whether to close the home.

Consultation process
Residents their relatives/carer and staff at the home will have
been fully consulted in accordance with the Moving Homes Safely
protocol and the results of this engagement shared with Members as
part of this report.
The Older Persons’ Accommodation Programme has been the
subject of extensive stakeholder and public engagement.
