Consultation process

Discussions have taken place with local schools to explore options for additional primary school places in the local area due to increasing demand. Having considered all options, the proposed expansion was approved as the most suitable option by the School Place Planning Officer Group in November 2014. Planning permission for the expansion will follow through the normal channels. This process will be led by Sewell Group, CYC’s private finance initiative (PFI) partner, Sewell Group (PFI partners), local ward members, headteachers, governors and York Education Partnership.
