Consultation process

Health and Wellbeing (H&WB) have engaged with partners including all providers of learning disabilities services and any interested parties in the City to help form the vision of Burton Stone Community Centre (BSCC). A workshop with providers was undertaken in April 2014 to facilitate a discussion about the future of BSCC.

Everyone who could be affected by the changes in services was invited to two sessions where they could influence and contribute to the specification for activities/sessions that could take place at the Specialist Activity Hub. These events took place late June and early July 2014.

There has been a consultation undertaken by Communities and Neighbourhoods (CANS) with the general public where an open event was held and consultation with staff members who may be affected by these changes has also been undertaken.
