Extending the Living Wage to Casual Workers
Purpose of Report: To seek approval to pay the Living Wage to casual staff from 1 December 2013 to March 2014.
The Cabinet Leader is asked to consider and approve the above
proposal.
An early decision is needed to ensure timely pay and minimise backdating. It is considered that February Cabinet is too far ahead and it will also ensure synergy with City of York Trading Ltd activity.
