Issue details

Clarence Street Bus Lane

Purpose of Report: To present information about the Clarence Street bus lane scheme. The report will summarise responses from the consultation exercise about the bus lane and will present information on construction costs, timescales and key risks in the form of the project plan.

The Cabinet Member is asked to approve construction of the bus lane to the specification laid out in the report.

This report has been withdrawn from the Forward Plan because after consultation and careful consideration, officers have been requested to test a number of alternative designs for the schemes.  Unfortunately this will necessitate a delay in bringing this report forward, however it is expected that a decision will be sought via a Public Cabinet Decision Session in November.
