Promoting Access to Cultural Opportunities

Purpose of Report: To set up a bursary scheme to promote access to cultural and sport and active leisure opportunities in York for the most vulnerable people in our community.

 

The Cabinet Member is asked to agree to the Council making available a bursary fund of £600 per annum. The purpose of the fund will be to allow partner organisations to purchase tickets for cultural or sporting activities for vulnerable individuals and families that they are working with.
