Future Delivery Arrangements for Library and Archives Services
Purpose of Report: This report
asks the Cabinet to decide whether to establish a social enterprise
model for its Library and Archives Services. Cabinet are asked to:
consider a draft business plan for a potential social enterprise to
operate the Council's Library and Archives services and to decide
whether to transfer the Council's services into this model and, if
so, on what terms.
The report has been deferred to July in order to allow more time
for consideration of the Libraries scrutiny report and
investigation of other technical issues.
