Coordinated admissions arrangements and admission limits for Primary and Secondary Schools in York from September 2014
Purpose of Report: The
report details the proposed City of York coordinated admissions
scheme (including proposed admission limits) which will cover
admissions into Community and Voluntary Controlled schools during
academic year 2014/15. Details of admissions policies proposed by
Academy and Voluntary Aided schools are also included for
consideration.
The report seeks approval for: 1. The City of York Council
coordinated admission schemes and admissions policies for both
primary and secondary schools for the 2014/15 academic year. 2. The
proposed individual school maximum admission limits for the 2014/15
academic year. These approvals are required under Section 89(2) of
the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
