Waste Services - Service Delivery options for 2012/13 and 2013/14
Purpose of report: A number of waste services
have been reviewed in order to bring forward proposals to achieve
approved budget savings for 2012/13 and 2013/14. The review process
has included household waste recycling centre, the provision of
waste containers and the provision of the bulky and clinical waste
collection services. Members are asked to consider the options for
Household Waste Recycling Centres, including fees and charges;
charges for waste containers; and future operations for bulky and
clinical waste collection services.
