Promoting Volunteering
Purpose of report: To provide an update on the
city's programme to promote volunteering within CYC and across the
city. The Cabinet Member is asked to note the update. This report
has been deferred to the February meeting to allow for more time to
develop the proposal. The reason this report has been deferred to
an April meeting is to allow for more time to develop the proposal.
The reason this report has now been deferred to a May decision is
to allow for the review of the self assessment toolkit linked to
the volunteer charter.
