Purpose of the report: In response to a
petition from residents, requesting the scrapping of the University
Road/Field Lane scheme, the report examines the background issues
relating to the need and aims of the scheme, and the reasons for
implementation and consequences of non-implementation.
The Cabinet Member is asked to decide if the scheme should be
scrapped or continue to design and implementation.
