Water End/Clifton Green junction: Options for Reinstating a Separate Left-Turn Lane on the Water End Approach.

Purpose of the report: This report discusses the feedback from consultation on two options for reinstating a left-turn traffic lane on the Water End approach to the Clifton Green signals.

 

Members are asked to consider the feedback received from the public consultation and make a decision about changes to the junction approach from Water End.

 

This item was moved from the Cabinet Member Decision Session on 8 March to Cabinet on 4 April,  because, given the significance of the decision, it was decided this would be better dealt with by Cabinet and needed to be programmed into their meeting programme.

400 consultation leaflets were distributed to local residents prior to Christmas 2011. Information also publicised on the Council's website and distributed in 'Your Voice' along with Local Ward Newsletters.
