York Museums Trust (YMT) Funding 2013-18

Purpose of report: The Cabinet will be asked to approve funding for the period 2013-18 in response to a business plan to be submitted by the Yorkshire Museums Trust. The Cabinet Member is asked to consider the report and approve the funding.

This report was withdrawn from consideration at the 6 December 2011 Cabinet meeting as it required additional financial work and to fit in with the timetable for the Council’s budget process. This report was moved to the Decision Session - Cabinet Member for Leisure Culture Social Inclusion on 10th April, to allow the budget to be set by Council through the budget process.

This report was moved to the June meeting to allow time for discussion with the YMT. This decision has now been deferred until October to allow more time for consultation with YMT. The reason this decision has been deferred until November is to allow more time for consultation. The decision will be taken in March 2013 to allow for further consultation.
