Terms of Reference for Transition Board for Liberating the NHS
Purpose of report: This will set out the Terms
of Reference for a Transition Board, with membership from both
health commissioners and the Council to oversee locally the changes
in responsibilities and partnership arrangement set out in the
Government’s White appear Liberating the NHS. It is expected
the Board will be formed early in 2011. Full implementation of the
changes is expected to be by 2013 –14 at the latest. Members
are asked to: Consider the Terms of Reference.
