Play Area, Beckett Drive, Osbaldwick
Purpose of report: To
respond to a petition received from Cllr Alexander, on behalf of
local residents, regarding a play area at Beckett Street, behind
Kirkdale Road. To inform members of the circumstances leading up to
the petition, of the action taken to alleviate the concerns of
residents and to seek instruction on further action if considered
necessary. The outcome of the decision would affect the residents
of Kirkdale Road and depending on the decision the timescale would
be dependant on the consent of the landowner and the availability
of funding to carry out remedial works.
