Review of Winter Maintenance Service
Purpose of report: To advise Executive of the progression of the
review of the winter maintenance policy and response to issues
arising from the severe weather of the 18 December 2009 to 10
January 2010
Members are asked to: Note the report and to agree to amendments of
the policy, especially in the area of network coverage, footpath
treatment, provision of self help salt bins, of road cycle way
treatment, communication and emergency response.
