Petition from residents of Holgate calling on First York to amend the route of the number 5 bus service.
Purpose of report:
Consideration is given to the measures taken to protect and enhance
the bus services in the area. The report outlines a number of
options which might be considered to improve bus service
connectivity between Holgate and Stonebow/Monks Cross, some of
which would require additional resource.
Members are asked to: Acknowledge the contents of the report,
consider possible further action and support officers in their
efforts to retain and improve local bus services in and around
Holgate and across the City.
