Traffic Issues relating to the Terrys redevelopment site
Purpose of report: To
advise Members on the results of a feasibility study requested by
Members of Planning Committee following the refusal of an
application to redevelop the former Terrys site by developers,
Grantside.
Members are asked to: Consider various measures designed to promote
sustainable transport by future users of the site, and to indicate
whether they wish these to be incorporated into the latest design
brief for the site. They will also be asked to consider the
practicalities and possible benefits of constructing a new Link
Road to protect Bishopthorpe.
