Access York Phase 1 (Park & Ride) Major Scheme Bid Submission
Purpose of report: To
provide an update on the progress of the Access York Phase 1 scheme
and request authority to submit a Major Scheme Bid to the
Department for Transport and authority to take options on the
purchase of the proposed sites.
Members are asked to: Authorise the submission of the Major Scheme
Bid to the DfT to enable funds to be obtained for the scheme.
Authorise the preparation of conditional contracts for the
acquisition of the land required for the sites. Approve the
principles of the funding arrangements for the provision of the
Council's contribution to the funding of the Major Scheme Bid.
