Former Tenant Arrears: Write off of Debts over £2,000

Purpose of report: Currently unrecoverable former tenant arrears over £2000 will be written off in line with financial management principles and minimising the impact of bad debt on the HRA.

Members are asked to: Agree to the write off of currently unrecoverable former tenant debts over £2000 in the knowledge that these will be reinstated should the customer be traced or contact Housing Services.
