Purpose of report:To provide an update on work
undertaken to assess the feasibility of proposals to introduce a
tram-train service in the Leeds City Region, with particular
reference to the operation of such a service on the York-Harrogate-
Leeds line
Members are asked to:Note the outcome of the study and endorce the
approach proposed for the further development of the tram-train
schemes within the Leeds City Region
