Applications for Community Right to Bid under the Localism Act 2011
11/07/2016 - Applications for Community Right to Bid under the Localism Act 2011: Costcutter Shop, 58 Main Street, Wheldrake, Wheldrake Woods, White Rose House, Wheldrake
Resolved: (i) That the listing of The Costcutter Shop,
Wheldrake as an Asset of Community Value be agreed.
(ii) That the listing of Wheldrake Woods as an Asset
of Community Value be agreed.
(iii) That consideration of the application in respect of
White Rose House, Main Street, Wheldrake be
deferred.
Reasons: (i) and (ii) To ensure that the Council meets the
legislative requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and promotes community access to community facilities.
(iii) To allow further time for consultation
following an error in the original application.
