Assets of Community Value – The Winning Post, Bishopthorpe Road and New Earswick Bowls Club
20/11/2014 - Applications for Community Right to Bid under the Localism Act 2011
Resolved: (i) That the Winning Post Public House,
Bishopthorpe Road be added onto the List of Community Assets.
(ii) That the New Earswick and Indoor District Bowls
Club be added onto the List of Community Assets as per Option 1 in paragraph 9 of the report i.e. the whole site as identified in the application.
Reason: To ensure the Council meets its legislative requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and promotes community access to community facilities.
