Public Protection's fees for operating Primary Authority Partnerships
18/07/2014 - Public Protection's fees for operating Primary Authority Partnerships
Resolved:
(i) That the implementation of the Primary Authority Principle be approved.
(ii) That option 1(to charge businesses an annual fee enabling full cost recovery) be adopted as the appropriate fee structure to be used by Public Protection’s trading standards, environmental health and licensing services for entering into Primary Authority Partnerships.
Reason:
To pursue Primary Authority partnerships and ensure that there is no ‘net cost’ to the council in doing so whilst ensuring the service is affordable particularly for new or smaller businesses.
