Public Meeting on Scarcroft Green All Welcome Tuesday 19th July Scarcroft Green, 3pm to 5pm
Intergenerational event Challenge your ward councillors at Table Tennis, Croquet and bowls!
Also The age of apple – join in the new orchard activity Bike Rescue, The Hub – free cycle health checks and advice York Stars – intergenerational performing group Planet Southbank Hamilton Planet Bouncy castle & giant outdoor games! Minutes: The event was relocated from Scarcroft Green to Clements Hall due to heavy rain.
Residents had the opportunity to talk to their Ward Councillors, Neighbourhood Management Unit, Street Environment Officer and Safer Neighbourhood Team including the new Inspector for the area. York Link, York Older People’s Assembly, York Rotters, Planet Southbank, York Central Historic Core Conservation Area Appraisal and York Racecourse had their stalls and displays inside Clements Hall.
URBIE bus and Bike Rescue were parked outside Clements Hall providing their services. Street Sport York outdoor games were provided outside Clements Hall.
Approximately 45 residents attended.
Some scheme suggestions were received.
Free ‘shop locally’ cotton bags were distributed.
