On Saturday 2^nd July there will be collections of bulky items throughout the ward.

Route starting at:

Ridgeway (8am, 9am and 10am)

Then calling at;

Askham Lane, Front Street, Gladstone Street, Milner Street,

Green Lane (to roundabout) (8.15am, 9.15am and 10.15am)

Then calling at;

Kingsway West, Danesfort Avenue, Gale Lane, Cornlands Road, St Stephens Road,

Gale Lane (8.30 am, 9.30am and 10.30am)

Then calling at;

Foxwood Lane, Huntsman’s Walk, Tedder Road,

Askham Lane (Approximately 8.40am, 9.40am and 10.40am)

Then calling at;

Grange Lane and Chapelfields Road.

Minutes:

Residents had the opportunity to talk to their Ward Councillors, Neighbourhood Management Unit, Street Environment Officer, and Safer Neighbourhood Team including the new Inspector for the area, York Link representative and Energise staff.

Approximately 400 residents attended.

Some of the issues raised were around litter bins, undelivered newsletters, overhanging trees etc.

Some scheme suggestions were also received.

200 cotton bags were distributed.
